About BUANA dotnet

We started internet business in 1998, under 'Planet Infomedia' name, we were among the first business in Indonesia specializing Internet Presence Services. During that time, there were only a few businesses, and they were mostly ISP, providing Internet Presence Services

In our journey, starting 2006, we extensified our product offering and combined our other businessess lines (e.g. MegaComp Computer Hardware, Networking and Programming) into one name: VERNEO Corporation. After 2008, Internet penetration became very massive, with the introduction of various netbooks and smartphones technology. Supported by vast technology upgrades by telcos, the Internet becomes a lifestyle nowadays.

Therefore, after 20 years experiences, we believe 2018 is the right time for us, again, to put more focus, attention and investment to Internet world in Indonesia, under new name which is more Indonesian: BUANA dotnet Internet Services

Here are our journey so far

1 October 1992

MegaComp opened for business

Selling computer and networking devices. MegaComp also offered Application Development service, using dBase/FoxPro and Basic, Pascal and Visual Basic platform. Few year laters, MegaComp was also contributing in introducing one of Linux Distro (uBuntu) and also provide LaMedio BBS service to its local community.

Planet Infomedia started its business as High Quality Hosting Provider

As one of early Internet Adopter in Indonesia, Planet Infomedia, starting its Hosting Business.
